Vicky McNicholl graduated from the University of North Dakota College of Nursing in May of 1993. She has enjoyed practicing in many areas of clinical nursing in her career, such medical-surgical, long-term care, allergy / immunology, and as a school nurse. In a teaching role, she has taught baccalaureate nursing students as a lab instructor at St. Catherine’s University in St. Paul, MN, and as an adjunct community health / school nurse instructor for Grand Canyon University in Phoenix.

While serving on the Minnesota Board of Nursing as an R.N. Representative, Vicky became intrigued with intersection of healthcare and law. She pursued and completed coursework through Kaplan University for her Legal Nurse Consultant certificate. After working as a nurse auditor for a hospital managed care department, Vicky joined Vocational Diagnostics, Inc. as a legal nurse consultant. As part of a team of medical and vocational damages experts, she became involved in life care planning, earning two certifications.

Vicky’s initial role as an in-house legal nurse consultant was with Holden & Armer, P.C. in Phoenix. She is passionate about her work, the defense of healthcare providers, and learning something new everyday. Vicky works as part of the case team for attorneys Peter Wittekind, Cynthia Patane, and Rachel Werner.
