Steve was admitted to the Oklahoma Bar in 1974. He served as an Assistant City Prosecutor in Tulsa, Oklahoma from 1974-1975. In 1976 he joined a private law practice in Tulsa concentrating in plaintiff’s personal injury cases.
From 1986 to 1989, Steve worked as a litigation attorney for the United States Department of Commerce in Washington, D.C. In 1990 he joined the general counsel’s office of Manor Care, Inc., Silver Spring, Maryland as a franchise law and commercial litigation attorney.
Steve was admitted to the State Bar of Arizona in 1996, and has been with Kent & Wittekind, P.C. since February 1998 where his practice has been devoted to personal injury cases including motor vehicle negligence and medical malpractice litigation.
In 1986, he took a position in the General Counsel’s
Office at the U.S. Department of Commerce in Washington,
D.C. He represented Commerce Department agencies in
civil litigation and Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases.
Mr. Booth was admitted to the Maryland Bar in June,
1989. In January, 1990. He left the Commerce Department
to become in-house litigation counsel for the Silver
Spring, Maryland hotel franchise company, Choice Hotels
International. His practice there was contract and trademark
litigation related to Choice’s franchising business.
Mr. Booth was with Choice Hotels until June, 1996, when
he moved to Scottsdale, Arizona. He was admitted to
the State Bar of Arizona in May, 1996, and has been
an associate with Kent & Wittekind, P.C. since February,
1998.
